Kids in the Divine Service
The Liturgy
This guide helps children and families understand the parts of the Lutheran liturgy and why they are used in the Divine Service. It explains key elements such as prayer, hymns, psalms, confession and absolution, the sermon, Holy Communion, and responses like the Kyrie, Sanctus, and Creed. Written in clear, kid-friendly language, it shows how God serves His people through Word and Sacrament and how the congregation joyfully responds in worship.
