Christmas

Christmas is the joyful celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God made flesh for us and for our salvation. After the quiet expectation of Advent, the Church bursts into praise: the long-promised Savior has come. In Christianity, Christmas is more than a single day—it is a season that continues for twelve days, inviting us to ponder the mystery of the Incarnation and rejoice in God’s love made visible in the humility of the manger.
Here we proclaim the good news the angels announced: “Unto you is born this day a Savior.”
